iOS requirements
Use this page for supported versions, install links, and iOS-specific permissions for the Seamless mobile app. For site selection, onboarding, and day-to-day tasks, see the Mobile App hub and the topic pages in the sidebar.
Supported versions and devices
- iOS 17.0 or later on a compatible iPhone with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- Apple Watch wallet behavior (if your organization issues a wallet pass) follows Apple Wallet and device compatibility for that pass type.
Install the app
Download Seamless from the App Store.
Permissions
When you first use features that need it, iOS prompts for:
- Bluetooth — required to discover locks and perform unlocks over BLE.
- Camera — requested when using the lock-code scanner to identify a device.
- Local Network — allow it if prompted for supported device-discovery tools.
If you previously denied access, enable it under Settings → Seamless (toggle Bluetooth on).
Apple Wallet (optional)
If your admin enables wallet access for you in the Seamless dashboard, you can add your Last Lock pass to Apple Wallet from the app’s Profile tab when offered for your selected site. Wallet presentation and Express Mode are controlled by Apple and your device settings—not by Seamless alone.
Account and identity
Sign-in uses SSO. Password changes, MFA, and recovery happen in the browser identity flow, not in a separate “change password” screen inside Seamless for all deployments.
